The osteopaths at Manchester Unity Osteopathy have a range of specialties. Manchester Unity Osteopathic Clinic has a wide referral network comprising of massage therapists, sports medicine doctors, GPs, radiology clinics, and orthopaedic specialists. We are also approved agents for Workcover, TAC, Enhanced Primary Care (via Medicare), DVA and are covered for rebate under the ancillary or extras cover of most major private health insurers.

Bruce is available on Monday mornings and all of Friday at our Melbourne City clinic.

Bruce graduated from Victoria University in 1998. The Melbourne CBD clinic is one of the longest established Melbourne city clinics.

Bruce has 19 years experience as an osteopath.  He also works as a clinician for Victoria University in their Melbourne city campus.

He works with patients from a wide age range and has experience with general
muscle and skeletal injuries.  He works with local AFL football clubs
providing acute care, treatment and rehabilitation advise.

Ramsay

Ramsay is available on Wednesdays at our Melbourne city clinic.

Ramsay uses a holistic approach for assessing, treating and managing his patient’s conditions.  A high interest in workplace ergonomics helps Ramsay guide his osteopathic treatments.  Ramsay has completed further study in Dry Needle Therapy as part of his ongoing osteopathic training.

Having played high level sports throughout his life, he maintains a good level of fitness and is always keen to help our city patients on their path to a healthier lifestyle.

Ramsay is a tutor in the Osteopathic Course at Victoria in Melbourne city
and is also enrolled in a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education.

Qualifications:

In Australia, Osteopaths are statutorily registered practitioners and complete a five year, full-time university degree that includes a two-year Masters by research degree. They are trained in anatomy, physiology, pathology and general medical diagnosis in addition to Osteopathic technique.
